Referral Process for Social Service Clients

For anyone who is interested in joining SHARE Community or would like to refer a client, here is some important information about how to join.

• Students can be referred by a social worker, health worker and other professional workers such as Disability Employment Advisers. 
• The cost of coming to SHARE depends on the numbers of days you attend, but we also offer discounts if more than five students are referred to SHARE from a social work team.
• Students can come to SHARE for a minimum of three days and a maximum of five days a week.
• The particular days of the week that a student attends are arranged in a consultation between the student and their course tutor.
• SHARE operates a regular review system of all its students.  For students who have an allocated social worker, reviews are usually held three, six, or twelve monthly at SHARE. 
• SHARE Community also reserves the right to call a review at any time if it is considered necessary. 
• SHARE also requests that any student with personal care needs must arrange to have a personal assistant to assist, either through Social Services or Direct Payments.
