Meet Rebecca, SHARE's Chair

Rebecca Emmott (pictured right at our garden party) joined SHARE Community as a trustee in 2007.  Rebecca (Bec) became SHARE's Chair of the board of trustees following our AGM in January 2009.  Alongside governing SHARE, Bec works for the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and is a passionate ballroom dancer.  Bec's expertise are in governance and internal policies and procedures.  She says that she enjoys all of the "boring" paperwork that no one else likes doing.

Bec replaced Clive Hershman MBE who had been Chair for 25 years.  Everyone at SHARE is very grateful for Clive's long term involvement with the charity and is pleased that Clive remains on the board of trustees. 

We'd all like to welcome Bec into her new role and ask her to steer the good ship SHARE on a smooth course!
