Plant Sale and Healthy Living Community Day

Published: 25/02/2017 - 13:00

Share is holding a Plant Sale and Healthy Living Community Day in the Share Garden on Saturday 20th May 2017, from 10am to 4pm.

We'll have lots of plants for sale, with a large stock of bedding, vegetable and herb plants, and delicious healthy foodie treats in our pop-up café, specially prepared by our catering students.

Plus we'll have FREE yoga, movement and mindfulness/meditation classes for everyone to try, with cappella singing provided by the wonderful Treblemakers.

Treblemakers will be performing between 11 and 11:45am.

The free classes will run at the following times:

Places are limited for the free classes, so if you would like to secure a place for any of these sessions, please email kavitab@sharecommunity.org.uk specifying which session you would like to attend to avoid disappointment.

Come along and get some horticultural inspiration as you relax in Share's beautiful 2.5-acre walled community garden based in the grounds of Springfield University Hospital in Tooting.

The Share Garden is also the base for Share's gardening social enterprise, Share Gardening, which provides garden maintenance and planting services. Members of the gardening team will also be on site to give free gardening tips and advice.

The garden is situated next to Building 15 in the hospital grounds, and can be accessed either via the Glenburnie Road entrance or the Burntwood Lane entrance. On arrival, look out for way signs en route to the garden. Go through the white gates, where you'll find our secret garden in the midst of suburban London.

Parking is available within the hospital, and is charged at £2 for the whole day. Disabled visitors can park within the garden itself. The garden is accessible and toilets are available on site.

This event is free, but if you register online we can make sure we have enough goodies for everyone! Register online at http://bit.ly/2jZArhl
