Comments/review:
Hampton Court Palace is a great place to visit for a day out if you like history or are interested in the Royal family. The 16th century buildings are very beautiful, and actors bring the place to life by recreating dramatic events in the history of the palace. This is an old building, so access for physically disabled visitors is compromised. There is still lots to see on ground floor level including extensive and beautiful gardens. There is a wheelchair accessible cafe, which serves nice food (but it's very expensive). The grounds would make an excellent place for a picnic. There is a very useful guide for visitors with autistic spectrum disorders, available on the website. This may help you prepare for visiting a new place. http://www.hrp.org.uk/Resources/HCP_autism_spectrum_guide_2012_2.pdf Hampton court offer a free pass for carers supporting disabled visitors. You may need to provide evidence of your disability when buying your tickets.
