Share is delighted to have received funding from the Tony and Sheelagh Williams Charitable Foundation, an independent grant-making charity, for the purchase of more iPads to facilitate learning at Share, based on our Theory of Change.
We requested funding for 20 iPads, but the grant is so generous that we’ll be able to order a few more. This will revolutionise learning and communication for our students, particularly those with more complex needs.
The use of iPads and touchscreen technology has really transformed how our students are able to learn. The accessible features, and intuitive and tactile nature of such products means that our students are able to pick up skills and concepts in a more visual and kinesthetic way and using media that suits them best.
