Sunshine and smiles at the Annual Share Garden Party

Smiles at the Share Garden Party

The sun came out in style on 27 June for our annual garden party at Share Nurseries. We were thrilled to welcome so many friends who joined us for such a wonderful day of fun and laughter. The garden looked amazing thanks to the hard work of our students who have been lovingly nurturing and cultivating a spectacular outdoor space.

As always we are deeply thankful to the Tooting Business Network who so generously support Share and help us continue the work that we do.

We were joined by the Mayor of Wandsworth Cllr Jane Cooper and stand-up comedian Don Biswas delivered a highly amusing set. DJ Adrian Fraser and Roger Samuels of The Voice provided much song and entertainment.

Well done to our raffle prize winners who were able to sample fabulous prizes generously donated by Windle and Moodie, Polesden Lacey, Gurkha's Diner, Hampton Court Flower Show, Pizza Express, Wineleaf Off-licence and Hotel Chocolat.

Our annual party is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our students’ successes with them, their families and our local community. We were able to showcase their talents and demonstrate the skills they develop at Share through music and art, nearly selling out a range of beautiful hand decorated bags and t-shirts.

The Share garden is flourishing, the polytunnels packed with an array of flowering pots all for sale to the public and we were delighted to see so many satisfied customers picking up plants for their gardens.

Take a look at our video of the highlights:

A reminder that you can visit Share Nurseries Monday to Friday from 9am until 3pm.  A wide range of plants are available to buy, all grown and nurtured by our students. The nursery is brimming with plants at the moment and there’s plenty of summer left to get your garden looking lovely and verdant!
