Share Open Day - October 2019

You'll be able to:

• Look at our facilities including a professional standard training kitchen, IT suite, arts and sports facilities and an “Immersive Learning Centre” – a 4D space that creates virtual environments to promote learning through digital technology. You can also find out about our 2.5 acre horticultural site in Tooting.
• Chat to current students and staff about life at Share. Our training courses cover basic skills, independent living, digital skills, catering, horticulture and personal development.
• Find out about our new developments including our ‘Steps into Employment’ class preparing students for paid or voluntary work and ‘My Community and Me’, a project that takes learning out of the classroom and into the community. Students learn practical skills about how to use public transport, stay safe and access community services.
• Hear from our dedicated Wellbeing Team about our person-centred approach and how we help people set goals and meet them using our student star method.
• Enjoy a delicious lunch at our on-site cafe prepared by our catering students.

Share is based in the borough of Wandsworth but works with people across London boroughs so we take referrals from outside Wandsworth.
