Share to exhibit at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe

Share's NO LIMITATIONS art exhibition

We’re participating in London’s most eclectic arts festival this summer. The Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2021 is an inclusive, open access arts festival celebrating art in all its forms. Art at Share is a valued means of self-expression and personal development for our students.

Our exhibition No Limitations will showcase a variety of work including photography, drawings, sculptural pieces, and textile work. Each piece is a celebration of how our students see themselves, their environment, their community, and the world. Students are inspired to create their artwork from everyday experiences and the everyday objects they encounter. A common thread through our work is sustainability, an understanding of climate change and the world around us, and how important it is to be resourceful, recycle items, and not create unnecessary waste. Art works are personal, powerful pieces drawing on the emotional impact of the pandemic, allowing viewers a glimpse into the creative complexities of our students.

We're holding an event on Saturday 3rd July for visitors to come and view our students' work and enjoy the garden. Entry is free and we'll serve light refreshments. The site is home to our social enterprise Share Nurseries so visitors can also browse our wonderful range of plants for sale. The exhibition will also remain open for the duration of the arts festival (25th June to 11th July) weekdays between 10am and 3pm.
