Celebrating nature for Mental Health Awareness Week

This year the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week was nature.  Spending time in nature has been found to help with anxiety and depression, making us feel calmer and happier.

We know all about the healing power of horticulture at Share, our garden allows us to not only provide training to help disabled adults move closer to employment, but also a beautiful outdoor space to boost confidence, mood and self awareness.

We welcomed friends from South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust to the garden to film students and staff and ask them what being in nature meant to them.
