Share partners with Choice Support and Workright for new employability programme

completing the GROW employability programme

We were delighted to collaborate with Choice Support and Wandsworth’s Workright employment scheme to deliver GROW - an employability programme helping disabled people develop soft skills to prepare for work.

The course was run in the beautiful Share garden and delivered by Rebecca Neaves and Edmund O’Leary from Choice Support, Sally Gale from Workright, and Share’s job coach Shannon Blackwood.

Students learnt about good communication and appropriate behaviour in a work setting. They used role-play to understand what you should and shouldn’t do in interviews, and identified what makes a good employer and employee. The course was very successful and culminated with a presentation of certificates with some students being referred to Choice Support for further job coaching.
