Are you passionate about photography and interested in taking up an opportunity to gain valuable experience in teaching people with disabilities? Would you like to help our students to persue their interest in photography?
We run a variety of different training courses for disabled people (our students) who need extra help and support in order to achieve their potential and realise their dreams and aspirations. Our students have shown an interest in learning photography and we would love to work with a volunteer that may like to design and run their own photography course here at Share. We are flexible around when this could take place, and it doesn't have to be a weekly commitment - it could be once every couple of weeks, or once a month for example.
Our ideal volunteer will have a strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people in all aspects of life. They will be reliable, punctual and patient. They'll enjoy taking photos, either using digital cameras or on iPads. They'll be friendly, warm and supportive of people, and will have good listening skills.
