Mayor of Wandsworth's fundraising events 2015

Last year, Councillor Stuart Thom, Mayor of Wandsworth, chose Share as one of three charities for support during his mayoral year. And over the next few months, he is running a number of fundraising events for the benefit of these charities.

Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race Day Party
11th April 2015, 3.30pm to 7pm. Tickets £30 each, with afternoon tea lovingly prepared by Share Catering

Boat RaceThe Mayor is holding a Boat Race Day Party at the T.S. Challenger with afternoon tea at 3.30pm followed by drinks. Situated on Putney Embankment with a fine view of the river, this venue will give guests a prime position to see this historic race.

Mayor's Golf Day
23rd April 2015, starting 12.00 midday

Golf dayThe Mayor is inviting applications from teams of four players with a maximum handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women to join him for a fundraising Golf Day. The cost for each player is £60.00, which includes a round of golf, a bacon roll and coffee, a three-course dinner and prizes.

A number of corporate sponsorship packages in support of the Mayor's Charity Appeal is also available. These include:

Full package: £320

  • Entry for four players
  • A full page advertisement to your design in the souvenir programme
  • Inclusion on the sponsorship page of the programme

Basic team package: £ 280

  • Entry for four players
  • A half-page advertisement to your design in the souvenir programme
  • Inclusion on the sponsorship page of the programme

Private Sponsorship of an amount of your choosing

  • Inclusion on the sponsorship page of the souvenir programme

Donation to the competition or prizes for auctioneering

  • Inclusion on the sponsorship page of the souvenir programme
