We're delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new project at Share this week. We’re partnering with the Black Prince Trust to provide healthy meals to Lambeth residents to help ease the cost-of-living crisis.

Not only does this help the local community, it also provides a valuable opportunity for Share students to gain employability skills in customer service and catering. 

Wandsworth’s most eclectic arts festival is back! We’re collaborating with the Royal Academy of Dance for this year’s Wandsworth Arts Fringe, performing ‘Kubera Meets Ganesha', through Bharatanatyam, one of the oldest dance forms of India.

The Wandsworth Arts Fringe is a real highlight for our arts group, who have been thoroughly enjoying rehearsing at the Academy’s dance studios. They’ve also been busy creating a series of artworks that will feature in an accompanying exhibition.

Dan is a neighbour and Share supporter who is raising funds for us by taking part in Ride London this year, a 100 mile cycling event on 28 May. He was inspired to do so after visiting our centre in Clapham Junction and seeing first-hand what we do. We’re incredibly grateful for his support and wish him the very best of luck.

Volunteering as a social buddy involves going out in evenings or weekends as part of a group to make sure that adults with learning disabilities and autism get to go out and have fun like anybody else!

Our social inclusion project, Go Anywhere, Do Anything is very popular at Share, and is an excellent way to get involved in volunteering and make a difference. We’ve made a short video to explain what it's all about, please get in touch if you want to join in the fun.

Students who take part in our community-based project Get Out and About have been exploring arts, culture and heritage, taking advantage of the many beautiful museums we have in London. They’ve been visiting a range of places to learn and explore, including the Horniman Museum and gardens. With the support of their tutor, the Get Out and About students have made a video guide about the museum to tell you all about it.

Share has been selected by the Co-op Local Community Fund as a cause for Co-op members to support. This means that for every £1 Co-op members spend on selected Co-op branded products, 1p will go towards funding our vital work.

We need your help to benefit from this scheme. You’ll first need to become a Co-op member, which is like signing up for a supermarket loyalty card, and only costs £1.

Just join online or download the Co-op app, choose Share as your cause and when you shop at the Co-op, not only will they donate valuable funds to Share, but you’ll also earn Co-op rewards for yourself too.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online, from your weekly shop to a holiday, you could be raising free donations for Share?

Over 7,000 online retailers including Deliveroo, Curry’s, Asda, Tesco, Trainline, Just Eat, and companies you might go to for bigger purchases like Booking.com, O2 and Confused.com, will donate a percentage to Share when you shop with them through the Easyfundraising website. 

It's really simple, just sign up on the link below, then when you want to shop online, instead of going directly to the retailer's website, go to Easyfundraising first and select the retailer you want to buy from. Doing it this way means you earn money for Share yet it costs you nothing!
