What a wonderful time we all had at our annual garden party! Thanks to everyone who came to enjoy the beautiful Share garden on a lovely sunny day. We were joined by students, parents, carers, supporters and friends for fun, music and a delicious lunch kindly provided by the Tooting Business Network.

Last month art students at Share put on a stunning performance in partnership with the Royal Academy of Dance as part of this year’s Wandsworth Arts Fringe.

Performing alongside professional dancers, the group performed the story of Kubera Meets Ganesha with traditional Indian dance. We passionately believe in inclusivity and this was a great example of the arts creating a space of equity and inclusive participation.

We’d like to say congratulations and a huge thank you to neighbour Dan, who raised an impressive £7395 by cycling for Share. Dan took part in RideLondon, an annual cycling event with over 25,000 participants that takes place around roads in London and Essex.

You could make a big difference to our work with just a small monthly gift. We rely on donations to deliver the range and quality of services essential to support disabled adults to have more choice and independence.

• Just £5 per month means we can buy seeds for five students to create a salad garden as part of their horticulture course. 
• £10 a month pays for two students to create hygiene and safety portfolios as part of our catering course.
• And £30 pays for the examination fees for an accredited course for one student. 

Regular giving in this way is vital to help charities like Share. Guaranteed income from monthly givers means we can plan and invest in our services longer term, providing more training and support for disabled people and their families.

If you're lucky enough to have a garden or balcony then why not brighten up your outdoor space with some beautiful summer plants from Share Nurseries! We’re open to the public Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm, in the grounds of Springfield Hospital. 

Share Nurseries is a social enterprise, which means that all profits from the sale of plants are ploughed back into the charity, to keep supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to live more independently.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online, from your weekly shop to a holiday, you could be raising free donations for Share?

Over 7,000 online retailers including Deliveroo, Curry’s, Asda, Tesco, Trainline, Just Eat, and companies you might go to for bigger purchases like Booking.com, O2 and Confused.com, will donate a percentage to Share when you shop with them through the Easyfundraising website. 

It's really simple, just sign up on the link below, then when you want to shop online, instead of going directly to the retailer's website, go to Easyfundraising first and select the retailer you want to buy from. Doing it this way means you earn money for Share yet it costs you nothing!
