Our annual garden party at the Share Garden in Tooting was a huge success. Students, their families and carers, and friends and supporters of Share enjoyed a sunny fun-packed day with music, dancing, and good food.
We had an arts stall, a drumming workshop, a very popular wheel of fortune game and a raffle, garden games plus a mocktail station for people to grab refreshments on a very hot day.
We'd like to thank everybody who made the event a success, including Chelsea FC who provided football sessions in the afternoon with coach Nico, and Movement Works who ran a session encouraging everyone to get up and move, as well as Share student Jodie for running a Zumba session. We'd also like to thank all our local neighbours and businesses who generously donated such excellent prizes to our raffle, including Marks and Spencer, Chalkboard, 2 Love Tea and Coffee Shop, Hotel Chocolat, Caudalie, London Grace Nail Bar, and Pizza Express.
Special thanks to the Tooting Business Network and the Khalsa Centre in Tooting once again for donating the delicious lunch and for their continued support of Share over the years.
