January and February 2015

It's been an exciting start to the year for us here at Go Anywhere, Do Anything. We spent January doing some all important project planning and reviewing. We've completed some reviews with our social buddies, and we can happily report that they are all having a great time! We have spoken with our members, who are also happy with how the project is shaping out. We'll be looking at how we can develop the project so that more people can get involved and have their say in where they'd like to go and what they'd like to do. There have been some great ideas so far, we think 2015 is looking set to be a very memorable year indeed.

The year has started off with a trip to Sadler Wells to see some friends perform with Hugh Grant and a matinee performance of the world famous Lion King.

The Drama Group - 13th January 2015

When we found out that some of our fellow GADA members would be performing a play called 'The Drama Group', along side Hugh Grant in London's Sadler Well's theatre... we were there! The play tells a story of a young man who isn’t sure whether he has the confidence to get into acting, but who eventually plucks up the courage to take a part. Hugh Grant plays the friendly enabler who tells the boy that you have to take a few risks in life and reassures him that no actor should ever be afraid of making a fool of himself.  Despite their nerves, Suzanne and Gus executed their lines with perfection. All the actors from the Baked Bean Company were great and we all loved every minute of it. Check out some of the photos from the evening here. The Lion King - 15th February 2015

Here at Go Anywhere Do Anything, we really do love going to the theatre! Lion King has been in London's West End for over 16 years, so we thought it was about time we got ourselves some tickets. With great seats in the stalls, we thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon of glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. The show was summed up nicely by Suzanne, who upon leaving the theatre said 'I want to see that again!'.

The Science Museum - 22nd February 2015

Did you know that there are over 240 museums in London?! Yup that’s right; our capital city is jam packed full of amazing antiquities and terrific trivia! The Go Anywhere, Do Anything Steering Group were very clear at the January development meeting that top of the list of museums to visit was the Science Museum. So without further ado; we made some posters, roped in some inquisitive science fans, planned our day out and caught the bus to South Kensington on a crisp Sunday morning.
