Board of Trustees

Kate Heaps (Chair)

Kate joined Share's Board of Trustees in 2018.

Kate has over 30 years' experience in the NHS and voluntary sectors. Having trained and worked as a nurse, commissioner and manager in South London, she now works as Chief Executive at a Hospice in Greenwich.

She has held a number of voluntary and board roles throughout her career and is excited to join Share as Chair, where she hopes she will be able to use her skills to support the management team and her fellow trustees to achieve Share’s future ambitions.

Despite the challenging funding climate, Kate is keen to ensure that Share is able to grow and develop so that it is able to continue to meet the needs of local people into the future; helping people with disabilities achieve their potential in life and to play an active part in their communities. 

Kate is also a partnership governor at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and holds an honorary contract at King’s College London, where she lectures on a number of  topics.

Michael Barnett (Treasurer)

Michael joined Share as a trustee and treasurer in 2018. Michael has worked for over 30 years in one of the UK's largest and most successful companies, qualifying as an accountant before fulfilling various roles in finance prior to moving into strategy and planning.

Jesper joined Share as a trustee in 2016.

Daria Cybulska

Daria Cybulska

Daria has worked in the charity sector since 2008 on a wide range of issues, starting from employability, health to knowledge. From 2012 she's been working at Wikimedia UK, the charity that supports Wikipedia in the UK, where she is Head of Programmes and Evaluation, and supports partnership building, engaging the volunteer base, overseeing projects, and, crucially, evaluating the charity's activities. Daria is interested in contributing to a charity that’s working on a much more difficult level of access to knowledge and education.

Daria is Head of Programmes and Evaluation at Wikimedia UK, an open knowledge charity, where she’s worked since 2012. She manages programme planning and delivery, which includes setting up partnerships, running volunteer engagement projects, and evaluating Wikimedia UK’s work. She's worked with Diabetes UK, and has also been involved at the environmental charity Forum for the Future. 

Daria joined Share as a trustee in 2015.

 

Jayshree Dave

Jayshree joined Share as a trustee in 2018. Jayshree is an independent executive coach, learning professional and investment banker with over 20+ years experience in the global financial services industry. She has a successful track record in leveraging her banking experience as a senior leader in delivering people development solutions over the past 14 years, and hopes to use this broad range of skills, knowledge and experience to make a difference within the charity sector.

Jenny Duncan

Jenny joined Share as a trustee in 2017. She has over 10 years' experience working with people with learning disabilities and autism. She started her career working as a Learning Support Assistant in a school for children with special educational needs, before moving to London in 2010 to study Learning Disabilities Nursing and Social Work and London South Bank University. 

Jenny completed a 12-month placement at Share in 2012 and has been involved with the organisation ever since. After graduating, she worked at Share to develop the Go Anywhere Do Anything Project. 

Jenny currently works as a Community Learning Disabilities Nurse, supporting adults to manage their complex health needs. Currently Jenny works for a Neurodevelopmental CAMHS service in North London and will soon graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma in IPAT therapies for children with additional needs. She is a specialist in supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. 

Karen McKay

Karen McKay

Karen is an HR professional with over 25 years' experience. She has worked for Royal Mail in a variety of roles, including HR business partner for the different professional functions, ER/IR manager and currently she is the Head of Employment Policy. Karen is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She is keen to use her broad range of experience within the charity sector.

Karen joined Share as a trustee in 2016.

Srishti Mahhajan

Srishti joined Share as a trustee in 2018. She has an MBA, with a background in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and has a track record of improving business profitability. 

She believes in the importance of building a safe environment, embracing unique viewpoints to spur innovation and broaden thoughts. Srishti considers life to be about the value of what you say and do – leading a life of positive action.

As a mentor both professionally and personally, Srishti feels privileged to have had the opportunity to encourage people to move forward and change their lives for the better. 

In addition to being a seasonal writer, Srishti volunteers with a number of charities and within the community, providing support and teaching older people and disabled people. Srishti is also a Trustee at Kensington and Chelsea Volunteer Centre.

Bill Morgan

Bill Morgan

Bill has a degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and trained as a chartered accountant. He enjoyed a long career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was the Ethics Partner and the Partner Responsible for Independence, reporting to the UK Executive Board, and a member of the Global Independence Leadership Team until his retirement in 2015. At PwC, Bill led a team of some 100 staff responsible for policy, training, consultations, monitoring and disciplinary sanctions. Bill is currently a member of an Institute of Chartered Accountants working party on Public Interest and Conflicts of Interest.

Darren Norris

Darren joined Share as a trustee in 2017. He is a carer for his brother who attends Share every week. He went on to become a social buddy with Share's Go Anywhere, Do Anything programme, which gave him an opportunity to meet and get to know other Share students and enjoy some fantastic trips with them. He was then invited to become a trustee to represent students' and carers' views at Board level.

Steven Pettengell

Steven joined Share as a trustee in 2018. He has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, including running his own hotel.

In 2012, Steven was a senior volunteer for the London Olympics and helped to put together the volunteer programme for the event, and subsequently devised the legacy programme for the Mayor of London.

Steven is also a long-time volunteer for Team London Ambassadors.

Steven grew up in Lambeth and found out about Share through a childhood friend who had attended Share some years ago and managed to secure his first job with Share's help.

Steven comments, "Being a trustee at Share allows me to give something back to my local community, which is something I am passionate about." 

Phoebe Scriven

Phoebe Scriven

Phoebe works on strategy and growth initiatives at Maslow Capital, a development finance provider. She previously worked as a management consultant at Capgemini Consulting, working in the finance sector to help companies react and adapt to the fast-changing and increasingly digital world. Prior to this, she worked as an innovation consultant at Happen Ltd, working with retailers, global FCMG companies, restaurants and pharmaceuticals to help them identify consumer needs and then create new strategies, products or services to meet specific market opportunities. She is also on the board of DevelopHer, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting women in technology.

Phoebe joined Share as a trustee in 2012.
