You’ll be based at our new Café space at the Black Prince Trust, 5 Beaufoy Walk, Off Black Prince Road, Lambeth, London SE11 6AA , and occasionally at our other sites in Clapham, Brixton and Tooting

£25,750 - £26,790 depending on skills and experience plus 5% pension contribution

Working hours: 
35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with some flexibility of working hours to meet the needs of the service. This is a new and exciting role which will be community focused in the first year with the aim of moving to a social enterprise model in the second year, which is likely to involve some evening and weekend work

Do you want to support adults with learning disabilities and coordinate the running of our community activities? We need a dedicated Community Food Hub Coordinator to work closely with our Head Chef to deliver a community meal service for the local community. You will help prepare and package meals while supporting students with their learning.

Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs become more happy, healthy, and independent. Main responsibilities

  • You’ll work as part of a team to deliver a community meal service for the local community
  • You’ll support the Head Chef with food preparation, student activities, food packaging and cleaning of the kitchen and front of house
  • You’ll work closely with the Black Prince Trust, local partner organisations and residents to distribute food to those most in need

Who we’re looking for

  • You have experience running community-based projects
  • You have experience working in a food environment and have excellent organisational skills
  • You are a people person who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds and is a strong team player
  • Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping disabled people enjoy more autonomy and you understand how to make this happen
