We’ve launched two new courses at our site at We are 336 in Brixton, providing opportunities for our students to express themselves through creative sensory sessions, and to explore the local area to find out about services and facilities nearby.
Creative Expression uses different sensory activities to create a stimulating environment that will encourage communication. Sensory play is known to have a calming effect and helps people to focus on tasks. We create various sensory activity stations using water or sound, and construction and design areas for people to pick and choose which suits them.
We’ve also added more community-based sessions through our new Community Living progamme, supporting our students to explore facilities and services they can use in the Brixton area.
